  • How secure is my personal information with Parkntt?
Your personal information is fully encrypted and never shared with other drivers. When someone scans your QR code, they only see your Field Nickname, never your real name, phone number, or email address.
  • What happens if my QR code sticker gets damaged?
If your QR code sticker becomes damaged or unreadable, you can request a replacement through the app. Go to Profile -> My QR -> select the damaged QR -> Request Replacement. Continue using the digital version until your new sticker arrives.
  • How do I add or change my phone number for notifications?
You can update your phone number by going to Profile -> Settings -> Phone Numbers. You can add multiple phone numbers and specify which ones receive text messages and which receive calls.
  • How many vehicles can I register with one account?
The Standard plan includes 3 QR codes, while the Premium plan includes 6 QR codes. Each QR code can be assigned to one vehicle. For larger fleets, please contact us about our Enterprise solutions.
  • Will I be charged for receiving notifications?
No. All notifications are included in your plan, regardless of how many times your QR code is scanned. Standard text messaging rates may apply for SMS notifications based on your mobile carrier plan.
  • How do I cancel or change my plan?
You can manage your plan through the app by going to Profile -> Plans -> Manage. From there, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time.
  • Do I need an internet connection to scan a QR code?
Yes, an internet connection (cellular data or Wi-Fi) is required to scan QR codes and send notifications. The app needs to connect to our servers to process the communication securely.
  • Can I chat with the person who scanned my QR code?
Yes, after receiving a notification, you can respond directly through the in-app messaging system. This allows for ongoing communication while still maintaining privacy.
  • What happens if someone scans my QR code but I don't have my phone?
If you've set up multiple notification methods (text messages, phone calls and push notifications), you'll receive alerts through all enabled channels. If you miss all notifications, you can still view the message and photo in your app when you return to your phone.
  • Is my location shared when someone scans my QR code?
No. Parkntt does not share your location with other users. The only information transmitted is the message and photo provided by the person scanning your QR code.
  • How do I report inappropriate use of the scanning feature?
If someone sends inappropriate content when scanning your QR code, you can report it by opening the chat/conversation and at that screen find the 3 dots on the right top corner. Our team will review the report promptly.
  • What happens if I exceed the QR code limit on my plan?
If you need more QR codes than your current plan allows, you can upgrade to a higher-tier plan at any time. The additional QR codes will be available immediately after upgrading.
